Transcending my work analysing society’s history and development into the present, I strive for an active part in shaping this present and future.
I am passionate about political progress in civil rights, social justice and a sustainable future.
Studying Cultural Political History, my academic work has centred around the way democratic societies deal with dissent; how democratic states react to threats of violent protests and terrorism while maintaining their legitimacy and rule of law; how pluralistic societies integrate or exclude their members and what this process means for a functional Democracy in the past, present and future.
I love reading and writing, listening to music and dancing, and generally being a friend, daughter, sister, partner and mother.
